Weekly Bulletin
Math Team: Our first meeting will be at lunch on Wednesday.
Learning Goal: Be able to evaluate and simplify expressions with variables.
1. Mangahigh New Challenges (10 min)
2. New workbooks: 7-BONUS2
- Wordbank vocabulary p. 0: Match the definitions to the words and fill in the definitions on p. 0 of your booklet

1. Additive inverse property
A. mathematical statement that asserts the equality of two expressions.
2. Equation
B. States that a + (-a) = 0 for any number a. In other words, the sum of a number and its opposite is 0.
3. Expression
C. A quantity that may change within a mathematical problem, usually represented by a single letter.
4. Simplify
5. Variable
