Period 6 Learning Goal: We will practice evaluating expression and solving linear equations.
1. Mangahigh: work on "form an equation" and "evaluate expressions" challenges
2. Solve two step equations
- examples
- write equations on a piece of lined paper, solve each equation, show each step.
3. Whiteboard Practice: solving equations for "x", using the distributive property
